» The Business Council of the Community of Portuguese
Speaking Countries was upgrade to a Business Confederation


The decision was taken during the Business Council meeting held in Bissau on December, 13th, 2009 by the following associations representing the 8 State Members of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP):

- Industrial Association of Angola (Angola)
- Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Angola (Angola);
- Coucil of the Business Associations of Angola (Angola);
- National Confederation of Industry (Brazil);
- Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo (Brazil);
- Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Sotavento (Cape Verde);
- Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Barlavento (Cape Verde);
- Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Guinea-Bissau (Guinea-Bissau)
- Mozambican Industrial Association (Mozambique);
- Confederation of the Economic Associations of Mozambique (Mozambique);
- ELO – Portuguese Association for Economic Development and Cooperation (Portugal);
- Portuguese Industrial Association – Business Confederation (Portugal)
- Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Agriculture and Services of São Tomé e Príncipe (São Tomé e Príncipe);
- National Association of Young Timorenses Entrepreneurs (Timor East).
