» Cooperation between the Business Council and CDE

The President of the Board of the Business Council of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries, Mrs. Albina Assis Africano, and the Director of CDE - Centre for the Development of Enterprise/ Cotonou Agreement / European Union / Africa Caribbean and Pacific Countries, Mr. Fernando Matos Rosa, signed a Cooperation Agreement aiming:

>To collaborate in the publication and promotion of information related to projects and activities developed by the Business Council and by CDE Trough the information channels and contacts of the two organizations;

>To inform each other about business opportunities and investments in the Portuguese speaking ACP States;

>To analyse together project proposals likely to be assisted by one or both organizations;

>To collaborate in missions and activities of investment promotion in the above mentioned states;

> To collaborate in the search and identification of sources of financing and co-financing for investment projects and technical assistance programs.

This agreement also contemplates co-financing of seminars and meetings, as well as other activities considered eligible by CDE e by the Business Council of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries, and which help promoting business opportunities and partnerships in the ACP states.
